Elmsford is an above average community in many ways and the recycling program follows suit.  A recycling calendar is sent out once a year and is an important tool for the correct dissemination of recyclable material.   Please check the recycling calendar for your respective part of the village ( ie North or South ) and use accordingly.

Listed below are the goals for recycling for the year 2009.

1. Raise the level of awareness about recycling in the village.
2. Develop an educational campaign along with demonstrations at the schools.
3. Institute monthly monitoring of the program results and report these results at the Village Board Meetings.
