Day of Remembrance

From 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Stop by the Elmsford Fire Company #1 Fire House there will be a place you can sit by the 9/11 Memorial and reflect on that sad day in 2001 and flowers will be available to place at the base of the 9/11 memorial in Memory of the 22nd Anniversary of 9/11.


Mayor Robert Williams, Commissioner of Police Stephen Foster & Fire Chief David Signor
will place a wreath at the 9/11 Memorial

From 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM Members of the 

Elmsford Volunteer Fire Department and the Elmsford Volunteer Police Department(Constables) will be standing Honor Guard at the 9/11 Memorial

Honor Guard Members of the Fire Department & Police Department  will be ringing a bell at these times in memory of the events of that day.

8:46 AM- Flight 11 Crashes into the World Trade Center North Tower

9:03 AM- Flight 175  Crashes into the World Trade Center South Tower

9:37 AM- Flight 77 Crashes into the Pentagon

9:59 AM-  World Trade Center South Tower Collapses

10:03 AM- Flight 93  Crashes in Somerset County Pennsylvania

10:28 AM-  World Trade Center North Tower Collapses
