Seniors Lunch
Dear Elmsford Seniors, “Elmsford Loves It’s Seniors” February 2023
Now that COVID is getting manageable, and it’s safe to get together, we want to get the Senior Program going again.
Two Village Staff Members Sandy and Diana have volunteered to assist with events, trips and weekly get togethers and more. The Senior Program is open to everyone that is 55 years or older.
Sandy and Diana have planned a Valentine’s Day lunch to kick off the new programs with a theme “Elmsford Loves It’s Seniors.”
Seniors are cordially invited to attend the lunch on Tuesday February 14th at 11:30 A.M. at the Elmsford Senior Community Center, 10 North Stone Avenue, Elmsford. The lunch is open to all seniors, current members, former members, and new members. I urge you to attend, you won’t be disappointed.
Along with lunch they want to get your input to what kind of trips and events you want to do, and they will give the Seniors some of their ideas.
They are already talking about a bus trip to a casino on March 17th, St. Patrick’s Day, with the theme of “Let’s Go To The Casino With The Luck of the Irish With Us.”
A Mother’s Day Breakfast and a Father’s Day Breakfast, during the week of both.
Bringing in guest speakers to assist the Seniors. Possibly having more than one day a week the Seniors meet to hold different activities on different days, just to name a few ideas.
Please join us on February 14th so we can talk about ideas and see old friends and neighbors we couldn’t see during COVID and have a wonderful lunch together.
