Payment Options

Moving Violations (Summons handed to a defendant by a police officer):

Once a written plea of guilty is submitted to the Court via mail or fax, a fine notice will be mailed to the defendant. After you are made aware of the amount due to the Court, the following methods of payment may be utilized:

Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express Cards are accepted. Please note that a service charge will be added to the fine/fee due to the Court.

To Pay in Person: Customer Service Window Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 9am-5pm. On Wednesdays we have Court and window Hours are 9am-5pm, please be patient while court is in session. (From Independence Day to Labor Day, Window Hours are: M-F 8:30am-4pm. The Court accepts Cash (EXACT AMOUNTS ONLY! WE DO NOT HAVE CHANGE), Certified Check or Money Order. Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover Card. A service fee will be assessed on all credit card payments. Note that neither the Village of Elmsford nor the Court receives any portion of the service fee.

To Pay by Mail: A CERTIFIED CHECK or MONEY ORDER may be mailed to the Court. Please make the item payable to "Elmsford Village Court" and be sure to print your name and case number on the front of the certified check or money order. Please DO NOT MAIL CASH!

If a personal check is sent in it will be sent back and if payment is not made by the date due repercussions will follow.

Parking Violations (Tickets left on a vehicle by an officer or parking enforcement agent):

  • Pay online at www.elmsfordcourtpayments.com
  • Money order for full amount due made payable to "Elmsford Village Court" 
  • In person with Cash (exact amount only -- we do not make change) or a Visa/MasterCard (subject to a convenience charge)
